A director and owner of Azukii Bistro, Daya is fluent in Japanese, having lived among the Japanese for over 15 years. Immersed in Japanese culture and manners, she studied Japanese culture and traditional confectionery making at the Chikara Mochi café and sweet shop, a part of the Yoshida School in Hyogo, Japan. Daya Sagari specialises in crafting traditional Japanese sweets, adding a touch of authenticity to Azukii Bistro's offerings.

Shivam Chaudhary

Director & Multifaceted Entrepreneur

The Managing Director of Azukii Bistro, Shivam began his professional journey as a hotelier, honing his skills in Japanese hospitality for six years. As a seasoned restaurant entrepreneur specialising in the F&B industries and co-founder of Goto Masala Pvt Ltd, he is dedicated to instigating positive changes in emerging sectors with a focus on authenticity. Shivam ensures unwavering consistency and commitment towards Goto Masala's mission. Beyond his culinary pursuits, he has successfully ventured into real estate, sealing deals with Japanese experts, and showcasing his diverse expertise.

Rie Goto

Executive Chef & COO

A shareholder in Goto Masala Pvt Ltd, the parent company of Azukii Bistro, Rie is a certified chef with vast experience spanning over 100 countries. Proficient in Japanese, Indian, African, South American, and Asian ethnic cuisines, she previously operated the Ethnic Restaurant Masala in Shizuoka, Japan. Rie's expertise lies in crafting delectable dishes for Azukii's menu. With a background in setting up Japanese kitchens in luxury hotels and transforming struggling restaurants into profitable ventures, Rie also holds a bartender’s license in Japan and has contributed to formal attendance service in PEI, Canada. Her influence extends to fostering the courteous service quality exhibited by Azukii staff.
